1936 Dodge D2 Business Coupe

The title above strikes beauty better than what is left of the car. There is rust aplenty, from its striking over head to the bottom of the rusty underneath of its steps, it is dark red with years of use and years of neglect.

The plate on the front with its double winged red, it's yellow background and its 'Dodge Brothers' logo, looking like it stayed out of the rust with the same bits of shiny chrome still running down the front. Every other inch of the car not wrapped in chrome or glass is buried in the deep rust of almost a hundred years. This car kept itsself as one of the best, until thenext years version, and the next years, came out, one by one.

But if you look past the rusting frame, the bent chrome, the giant wheel wells and the running boards, and just try, the best that you can, to see this operating car, upon the street, down the dirt road, holding the windows up with the heater blowing in the winter, and all windows down, blowing the cool air around in the summer black as any midnight you could wish for, it can make you smile.
