Spending the time walking, Spending it here alone, together,
A person can almost glimpse the beginning,
Or the ending, as the clouds roll in,
As the sun moves down, down in the western sky,
And lays to rest the every aggravation dealt with,
Each moment of torment, with the tranquility of nightfall;
The red sky at night,
Calm waters gently lapping at the shores, leaves the next morning,
Ready, for me, for us, to find another day,
One of worry but less, one of that time,
That we shall be together again.
