A Subtle Warning

Just a few days ago, when the grass was still brown as the mud it surrounded, and the limbs of the trees were aching to show themselves off with new growth and all of the splendid buds on limbs and petals were still aching to break through, this corner post stuck out like a sore thumb.

The Rogers County Cattle fellow members had put this one red sign up telling the world that this property was protected by some type of insurance we're sure they bought and got this free sign, which would be enough to scare off anyone with any appropriate understanding of "what's-mine-ain't-yours".

Then, out of honor and sportsmanship, this other sign was then put on the inside of the gate, at the top, doing its best to preserve and protect, and absolutely scaring the fire out of me, because I was parked in their driveway whilst taking this picture, looking up the gravel road and doing my best to figure out how to get turned around and back on public land, without crossing the fictitious line of no return. There is no doubt that the shooters aim is above reproach.

There is something to be said for understanding what you read.
