The earth in its slow and methodical way, using years as though they were particles of only microseconds, can pull the work of man, let it be of the finest wood, or the glass of yesterday’s sunshine, down to its surface, and make it become again as dust.
Bring the true nature of time, that awful creature that sucks away the life of many and leaves others standing in the cracks of its wrecking bits, and give it all it can have, one day, it will recover it to the soil .
Each piece can look so strange, the faces of those who have looked or have been looked upon, peering out in frozen features, but knowing that it will someday be gone, but other generations will see it, but never know the time it spent.
