Closer Watch

A person can look at the world and think that it is all as it should be, with wet pouring down, rain a part of the day, the limbs being without leaves that usually are so green and full, the tops you can never see except this time of year and the wet draft of the road as you look.

But perhaps as you watch the morning meander along, you consider all these things, but that little bit, that depth of the thickness of only a finger nail, of formidable frozen water, rolling across each piece of rock, curling itself amongst the sand and soil, bringing the harbringer to scream slow down, slow down and watch the way, so you might see it again.
