Try to see.
Watch the night come around you, all quickly, all in one piece,
watch it cover those lenses you depend on for vision,
smooth it over with all with darkness, wrap the very soul with night time, and revel in the warmth you cannot see.
The water ripples slowly, reflecting the moon in its earnest path, opening the lake creatures to the light,
The tree stands with the held over strength of another dry day, yearning for the water to reach its roots, feeling the coolness of the night settle in around its branches, it's leaves wiggling in the nights breeze.
The night is full.
