Listen. Listen past the broken windows. Listen past the trees, the growth on walls and windows.
Listen to the footsteps, the cheers, the encouraging words. Listen to that one yell, the yeah! The go! The good job ! As one of the opposing team sacrifices the ball, filling up the very home crowd with life.
Play it well . Play it strong, play it real . Those beneath broken windows, whose feet are gnarled into the floor, whose cheering chests about to break, rush the air out, and in silence again, it lives the moments there.
