“We’ve gotta go, gotta go” she yelled,
“Where we going, where we going?“
She yelled back at her, in squawks of total confusion.
“Well there’s food, there’s food, see it in the ground, on the ground?” She cackled and scrambled across the ground .
“But is there enough, is there enough?” She whined out the thought, “But will there be enough, be enough?”
Squawking and creaking and fighting for their feet, both birds would have said more, but their mouths were filled with chicken feed, that preoccupied their minds .
“Food, eat food, eat food!” She said, running around in circles, eating the food.
