Bless us Lord, for we are your gifts,
Hold us ever closer to your heart,
That we can walk the valleys,
Find the way among the hills, and let us be your guides.
With children’s steps and children’s hearts, our comfort comes, but at a price;
To feel you there, to see your glory, to hold on to your robe,
to be open to Angel’s prayers and know we will meet again across the river gold.
Hold us close Lord, and keep us there with you.
