In The Summer

My heart is broken, my soul a mess,

When time is moving by so fast,

When gray hair covers this balding head,

Each bent limb, another walk, not completed, oh Lord let me stand.

Let me sit in this pew, this piece of wood stained with time,

Let me feel Your cross over me,

Let the light shine through these windows,

And fill me with your glory.
