Indian Lodge

1955 the use of the Indian, welcoming people to the Indian Lodge was not a slur, a written thing against the Indian, nor something of absolute wrong.

Ft. Gibson Lake was a ‘New Place’ on the horizon of Highway 51, just outside of Wagoner, and there were few places to stay and fewer places of accommodation that might make the family feel complete in their erstwhile travels.

It is now 2022 some 67 years in advance of the start of the amazing camping spot . The place where two double beds, inside of concrete block walls in the inside, and red brick walls outside can hold the night time temperature to an even keel.

24 rooms in separate cabins, a u-shape from times past, a night time of rest among the precious heat of summer.

Look no further, if your not camping or trying to live the modern life . For all one needs is the bed of yesterday and the time of tomorrow to look forward too.
