Indian Paintbrush

The plant is so tiny, it’s petals barely there,

Making their colors of pink and orange, rock against the great sky,

The bee can gather its nectar,

Eclipsing most of the flowers bloom,

But stand some back, and watch

The colors roll together, as flower after flower blooms and dances the little dance that makes it blanket the floor and creates the paint-brushing a vivid scene, for all to see, one more.
