The lantana thrives with late blooms,
The lovely flowers bring about,
The awesome cooling red,
With flowers, yellow lighting from behind.
It is late, somewhat, where weather lurks,
There are multiple foliage blooms,
Waiting here, just for their doom,
In groups and bunches they huddle
together.
Should cold air blow, they will meet their demise,
But the blooms have made their sear,
On minds that may be cloudy or gone,
And keep flowers there, within our hearts.
