Let us look among those who've fallen, try to find the very best,
in all their grandeur that has been, find them now, at this time of rest.
Looking close we will see the greatest of the great; over here and over there,
But find that one, or two or five, we know,
We've found that one to share.
Life carries on, like rain drops fall the leaves, their death is but the meaning,
Of their time among the trees and on whose limbs they did spread, and
On our hearts they will keep leaning.
