Near The Cross

A sight that will cause the scene to unfold:

The depth of those things unknown, to the inklings of suffering and shame, the shadows of those that were that were known to me who may still stand upon my back, grab my shoulders deep and form the burdens that bend my older body, put down my head to where the eyes can no longer see what is in front of me, but live only in my past.

That first precious few moments of reconciliation, that feeling of breath filling my lungs with constant renewal; the unburdening of my souls entrapments, the burst of absolute freedom raising my head and seeking that One who has made me free again, forever free, imparts the fluidity of living life within the body so desperate for relief.

Just a glance, a pure look, seeing through my darkened eyes, feeling a touch of the base of the cross through my hands, so scarred with time, and my heart, can make it all unfold.
