Looking west, as the night was making its hurried stroke,
Over the McGill’s Echo Acres,
Watching the sun making its last resistance, against the easing pull of nights claim,
and with it the darkness of late, late summer.
The colors were so many, the casts of those like a parade of time,
Telling the observer, the one who found the benefits of walking the pond and enjoying the evening breeze,
It was to be seen, and felt, and become a part of those looking on.
