On The Way

The way, seems to be between the far trees, a little right of center, where the path drops off, and the fog is rising, or falling, as the mountain sleeps in quiet slumber, so far it seems small, it’s crest protected with fresh snow.

You can look there, far out, as the clouds pour in, and it seems smaller to the visual sense, just a tiny corridor of light, wrapped around the water trickling down.

Watch closer. The trees are are seeing the light, the birds are flying, the rocks are lying in their own dimension and pattern, the water bathes the fallen pines with glaze of shadow, and reflection of full growth in the calmest day.

Watch the scene grow, and and change with the light, peer into the shadows, anticipate and live with that portion you can see.
