Pop A Top Again

When you look out on the almost completey filled-up earth, across highways and paths and man-made things, even out in the country where the trees are still the tallest of things , and the expanse of perfect blue sky can only be broken by the earths ripples and cuts of soil and hillsides exposed, your eyes will move so fast to capture this amazing piece of work,

Man made, some time long ago where history meets the great beyond, making molehills of these mountains, this tower was made to hold water, all fastened and bolted and welded to project a life of care and compassion, with water pumped in, and the very essence of of living things drained out, making better of the best of times.

But lo, a symbol not oft seen, like a quotation in a book, not speckled in quotation marks, a cheery response to nary a comment made, this wholly undone thing, wrapping and warping your view, and making you, think.
