Ride With Me

The boat. It is without belief; come along and see the lake, see the river, come along and ride with me.

My windows may be broken, my bow in less than perfect shape, the wood that lines my hull and body, is dry, and kind of out of shape.

My mid-engine is still there, all rusted and firm, with the opening down to my prop and keel, which will turn with just a look to the wheel.

Down underneath, the portals are still in place, the glass may be gone, but those who seek a rest, and a look alongside, still have that option to see the water and the shore, watching as we slip by.

The aft-deck is fine for looking, of where we have been, and glimpse again the trees and the fowl, who line the rivers walk. Lean back in a chair, rest your feet, and watch the water run by. Come please, and we will power through.
