Looking back on all of the square bales of hay that had been tossed up, popped up, chains a rattling each one, no one behind the wheel, truck in granny-low, getting paid three cents a bail, stack it up, make them fit and then tie them down. Make the trip to the barn, sling off the ropes, and reverse the process, all for the same three cents a bale .
