This house has stood a firmer breeze, and colder days, warmer nights, and sunshine playing its best upon its roof and walls.
It has spared its residents, from ugly winds and storms, and it’s front porch, with room for two chairs, has captured the nights wind.
The curve on the west, with its fancy placements of shingles, bore the fruit of finer days, for those just passing by.
While the siding may be coming off, exposing those boards beneath, it was here in days gone by, when finer men could cool their feet.
