Spathiphyllum. These are most commonly known as:
The Peace Lily.
The flowers are produced in a spadix; long white, yellowish or greenish spathe.
The vernacular of plants and flowering things can be long, without reason, very self indulgent in the one who discovered, or developed the plant, but it is with certain charm, dependent on the locale, and the person likely to have made the plant a significant creature among us, for whom it’s scientific name is stretched and made to the world.
It’s “common” name, however, the plant “The Peace Lily” brings with it the awesome soul of man or woman, ties it to the beauty of the flower, and makes it a whole within the world.
The peace the flower brings, can only be felt by looking at it’s beauty.
