Just a road, out west of town, not many travelers make it around,
But Spring has Sprung:
Across the great pasture is brown, but will be green, overnight, somehow.
The cauldron is set, for cooking or cleaning, but flowers for fire leave the heat with no meaning.
Spring has sprung, the leaves are making their way,
Leaving the tree with spots of green for today.
Roll the windows up!
Whoo, what a smell, as a skunk just walked up,
And fired a shot, oh you can tell....
