Take It Away

From my spirit, so cobbled and hurting, the evening seems to be dreaded, each night to be abhorred, from darkness making that early play to the depth of my soul, as blindness sets in and makes the winds real, battering hammers that fall from anywhere, and pound and crack me almost to tearing apart. These are so real, out of tune, and made of the very essence of black night.

The morning, with clouds now roiling off, declares victory, stands for the end of night, and its breezes and soft summer feelings reveal the light, rising, making the darkness retreat, making our life become easy once again.
