Teach me father, as we walk through this time, teach me the steps I need to take. Teach me where to stand and where to turn.
Teach me of time, and feelings, teach me of those who turn away, teach me those who come close, and stay there. Teach me of the grass and ponds and rain. Teach me of the cold wind blowing, and teach me of the pain.
The grass is green, it’s peaceful out, the sun is fresh upon my back, as I try oh father, to capture you within my heart and keep you in my eyes. Teach me father.
