The headstone is broken in two. Not a straight break, but a ragged, tearing of stone, caught in the capture of time, this tree so small when you were taken,now wrapped around itself with leaves about to fall.
This one; one plastic rose, still wrapped with some color, a forgiving peace, for your block being separated, as we are, laying together on the ground.
