When you look toward the future, you must see the essence of the depth of the past looking back. Silently from its height, looking at us with the eyes of consternation, and the ambivalence of those who have walked this path, found there amongst the dust and trials of time and capability.
The sun is breaking across the plain of the altitudes summit, beginning to pour its being and light down upon us, but the mountain of our growing is still there, still a part of us, still anchoring our souls.
Their altitudes look equal, but the light is higher, much higher, much wider, more for the blinded eyes of those caught in the darkness of the earth, more for the ones who want to see.
