The beautiful thing about this yard is it's everything . The full blown windmill wrapped in its galavanized self, held together with stainless steel cables, and its pump setting in the bottom, ready to maximize the water distribution simply by lifting its handle.
The small cabin sitting there with cedar trees and elms around it, it Coca-Cola sign up at the peak and the sound of your boots as they hit each step of the wooden walk.
The trees all up and green and bringing on spring, the only late bloomers are the Crepe Myrtles still showing their bare limbs to this spring filled world, the one whose weather sprung from 50 degree highs to 90 degrees in just a couple of days. Watching the old and new, sharing the grounds, watching the world come to summers waiting.
