He stood there in the yard, looking about, seeing what he could see, proudly of course, he was the only ass on the place.
He meandered about, up by the fence, down through the grass, stopping from time to time to make the assessments, down by the pond, he was of course, the only ass in the place.
A rabbit stepped up and scampered through the field, a bluebird swung down from a high limb, he just carried along, slow and pretentious, being the only ass in the place.
The day was real bright, the sun not to hot, how pleasant could pleasant can be, as he loved the sun’s shine, and the donkey’s grin, as a picture he took of the four footed male, and he remained proudly, the only ass in the place.
