Look at me, I’m still standing.
I’ve managed to keep my skirt tails all in order; well the ones I honestly still have. They built this loafing shed on the north east side, and you can see, I may be in a bit of a twist, but it’s holding me up.
That and the one partial leg, that is keeping my ragged old roof from falling down . My bones are showing, I’m sorry, but you can see how far I’ve come.
I don’t feel the pain of being here about a hundred years, the battering Southwest winds blowing in to my side, and the days of dryness and the few nights of rain, have kept me alive, and seeing, these Oklahoma nights again.
