New leaves.
Breaking out in big numbers, to catch the sky. Springing out from the limbs, but hanging on tightly until fall.
The days work of bringing the sun up, and the earth curving into the clouds and mist pockets throwing their weight, allowing the tops of the trees to show their fancy working of leaves, to all that can see.
