Staring off into the western sky, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico can be in the scene,
as dust trails spike the night sky, sending vapors through the rousing clouds,
and covering Oklahoma, with New Year riding its back from the east, and the western wind, blowing the darkness cross us all.
Weather has held its ugly self back, leaving its beauty to permeate the soil, and bring each of us together, once again, in celebration of the date that that most will see, some will not, but it keeps us all held in its grasp, for tomorrow will bring the first day, and tonight will bring the last.
