Weathered

The fan is bent, it’s blades are rounded,

The axle is there, but rusty, tired and stopped.

The stand upon which it stood is gone complete.

The windmill, driven by the sky, had turned for over half a century into the next.

The pipe and water tank loom way above, disconnected.

It was full, now grown closed with time and technology,

Covered with soil, that takes away the rhythm, the sound and essence of old.
